Pringles

Judah, my four y.o. has shingles. We call them pringles.
Ya know how some people love to peel sunburn and pick scabs? Judah has become the inspiration for a new gross-out toy we'll have out next Christmas. What looks like a normal doll becomes covered with thick, nasty, stickin' out, hard scabs after you pour in the special "scab concoction" and turn on the doll to heat up and it cooks up its own platelets (batteries not included). Bookoos of platelets.
Yuck! The poor kid can't keep his hands off the scabs. I nice bath this morning helped loosen many but I'm afraid he's going to scar. We're trying to come up with some sort of "I was attacked by an alligator" story for when he's older. ;o)
